YIKES!!

 

Today’s events…

 

So feeling a little better, once more. Thankfully, everything seems to be settling down. It has been a rough few days though, awful in fact. Fingers crossed that I don’t get any more 🙂

 

 

I got a text today about rescuing some fish for a while. The lady who owns them lost her husband and was finding it very difficult to look after them. We first helped her out in the summer and found a good home for four of her larger fish, but the smaller ones we couldn’t sell or re-home. So we hoped that she would be able to manage them, not being as many over the winter. Sadly not, it was worrying her silly, so we brought them home today… sort of against my better judgment. As with having baby koi, we’ve no QT to isolate them and treat them, we just had to wiz them straight into the big pond.

 

Of course, all my fish are happy to see new friends. And went right into pushing them around the pond. I think it will take them a while to settle in, but they’ll be fine. At least if we get bad weather the water is heater here, they’ll not have a rough winter.

 

I’ll just have to be careful. They are five rather large fish, which might just push my filter (which is in winter low mode) over the edge, but I am a careful person, so everything should be good.

 

Been a very busy evening,  just settling down now.  Don’t know how much I’ll do tonight but I am going to try some plotting 🙂

Hey there,

 

Feeling still under the weather, nothing like working when you have a fever and a really bad throat. 😦

 

I went to bed at 7:30 last night and slept for most of it. Think I’ll be doing the same again, well after a nice bath.

 

Thinking more about short scripts today, actually wrote out a small plot line for one. I guess I should start writing it. Wether or not it fits someone’s bill, its a nice idea and I like it so why not 🙂

 

Just not tonight, will try and start something by the weekend though.

 

Paul is off tomorrow, so he can do some of my jobs and get stuff ready for when I get in, might be feeling even better tomorrow.

 

I cancled my scuba training, can’t dive with a cold or anything so no point going. Paul said he will go swimming though, he needs to get himself fitter so he can join in on the dives, and I know he really wants too.

 

Got my email from EON saying the cash for this solar payment will go in the bank  soon. Good, I’m buying a cross trainer/exercise bike to help us both burn some energy 🙂 Can’t wait for that.

 

The guinea pig looks better though he seems  to have a nervous twitch. His cut looks so much better, but it is itching him which he doesn’t like.

 

Fingers crossed we’re both better soon….

Hey there,

 

Dragged myself to the docs, yep tonsillitis again. No way do I want it like last year, 12  weeks off and on. So strong course of antibiotics and hopefully it will be gone!!!

 

It is horrid, feels awful. Can’t swallow, don’t want to talk. YUK!

 

So not much to add to today. Work was okay, hard work though. Will be hard work tomorrow too. Just hope I can sleep tonight, as  it was just as bad last night as the night before.

 

Interesting thing came up today though, a director/producer is looking for a new short film. So, have some ideas floating around in my head over that.

 

Ryan, the other nice director from London contacted me over the ideas I sent him, so fingers crossed for me things might be looking up this year. Loads of work to do, just need to get some rest, get better so I can do some.

 

Taken loads of pills, now off to bed to relax.

YUK!

 

What else can I say, I woke at 4:30 this morning in agony. I had thought during the week that I felt a little feverish so had taken some beechams etc. But, didn’t think any more of it. So today my whole left side of my neck throat and ear is  in so much pain it is unreal. There are no words to say how bad it feels. Like swallowing red hot molten glass, maybe. Yes, I think that suffices.

 

I got up at 10, went with Paul to collect my brothers fish  tank, which has gone to a lovely home. His fish 4 of them, went to a different home, but wow, they were bigger than we first thought. Paul dropped me back at home and he went onto deliver the tank.

 

I went back to bed, and have such, just got back up. Still in agony. I think I might have to see the doc tomorrow… This time last year, I had tonsillitis on and off for 5 weeks. I don’t want it like that for the next few months 😦

Done my jobs, not hoovered though, that can wait till tomorrow. So, I’m off to take some more medicine and relax for the  evening. Night all.

Hey there,

After a few drinks last night, I never slept. Awful night really. Heard the guinea pig cry a few times and just was worried. Poor thing. His wound this morning is black, so at least it isn’t open any more.

Paul got up at 5:30 to see if he could get his tyre blown up at work, nope. So he came back and I had to drop him off to fix it later on my way to Dive training.

It has been an interesting day, but a long one.  The theory behind BSAC and all the gear is hard work to get your head around. Because I’d done it last year, it was easier to remember and we finished the first three lessons and went into the fourth, which I hadn’t done. So learning more today about dive plans and tables was interesting.

I’m tired now, and haven’t done any of my jobs today. I have to do them tomorrow. Looking after the big fish and the babies, cleaning the guinea pig pen and tidying the house. This is  all in amongst picking up the fish tank from my brother and taking it to Wigan for a friend. Nightmare, I think tomorrow will be just as hard as today. 😦

Oh well, I am going to relax tonight and see what happens. I’ve done well this week so relaxing is top priority lol….

Not sure if I’ll get much writing done, but I am going to do a read through while the other half flicks channels trying to find something to watch. Sat night TV isn’t much good.
