I admit I’ve very lucky to be working with the people that I do, so when this came through today, without any prompting I was stoked and had to come share it.
The team have been working so hard, we’ve had our first proof copy through and have now tweaked the cover to reflect all the changes and things that we hadn’t expected. 🙂 We have submitted it once more for their review and I should have the next copy this week hoping to take it on my hols and get through it as a last min check. Before we go for launch.

Hey everyone.
We’re getting so close to Xmas, and after my birthday weekend last week. It’s been a totally hectic one as per usual.

We got off to a great start, and peaked with me posting my short pitch with 16k views. But this week is slower, I personally haven’t had time to post much, yet the page is still gathering fans, so that is just awesome. And they’re people I don’t know which is even better. The reach is getting there.
Trent, (our conlanger) has also been working on the Royal Pendant which currently belongs to Kendro. Here are some of the images. 🙂
The idea is that the three subordinate houses sections split off, and can be used to gain access to their territory in dire circumstances, to show that House Niakrex needs them. It doesn’t come into play really till book 2, but it’s there to show power for Kendro when needed through the first book.
Our idea is to get a few mock up designs physically made for a give away. Any thoughts? Would you be interested in owning one?
In watching the language develop I’ve really now got this deeper understanding to how language is created. It’s opened my eyes in many ways. And is giving TSK A real depth to it’s structure, from it’s vast history to how society now works in general. I’m loving it, seriously.
A young gentlemen, Patrick Bowen, who I got to talking too from the conlang advertisement, has also inspired me to start some world building in a different universe. One built around a language he has already been working on. I’ve listened to some of it, he’s a wonderful speaking voice, and it has a nice sound to it.
This is really strange for me, as I’ve working on TSK for quite some time. But it’s also been refreshing to start the process of creating a world worth being in. The ideas are coming thick and fast, and I’m excited to put some of it together to let him have a first peek.
Another thing I’ve been watching develop is our website, and this is looking good. Might take a little while longer just yet, but we’re gathering content and working really hard on it all. I’m so proud of these guys.

This week has been amazing. It’s gone so fast, I don’t know where. Anyone else having that problem.
It seems I come home from work, have lots of email and stuff to answer and then it’s like 8.30 and I’m too tired for anything.

Trent Pehrson is our Conlang expert and designer for some of the specific language related products. Like Kendro’s Royal pendant. With a little extra promotion, we reached 6000 people and found some new fans.
I am wiped out, but excited all at the same time. It’s been amazing to see this come together over the last few months. I’m very proud and love working with these guys now in my team. 🙂
In retrospect to my Science fiction project. TSK. My animator and TV co-writer decided that we wanted a specific language for our world.
There are many places you can advertise, but we went straight to one of the best sites on the internet.
and I conversed with their Vice President to get my job advert perfect. It did take a little longer than expected, but good things aren’t worth rushing.

It’s been an interesting experience, because I’ve never really had to go through, reading and absorbing Job Application. I guess the joy of being the one in charge, even with the other guys on board is that these are the kind of decisions I will have to make.
One thing I noticed and was impressed more about the applicant’s than there actual qualifications, which some are so impressive it’s unreal. Is that the personal touch also makes you think and feel more in regards to that person applying for the job. They did their homework, they looked up and noted who I was, where my internet presence lay. And made it known. This was good. Duly noted for any jobs I may apply for myself. 🙂
My weekend now will be talking through things with my partners, looking over the applicants, and making a decision on who we would like to hire.
I am very excited about this. It takes my world to a whole different level which I think is awesome.
