Diving and Mums last day :(

Hey there, 

 

So last night was really good.

 

I put all my kit together with no problems and managed all the first part of the assessment without any problems. But, then  we had to do a mask removal and replace which I decided to choke down a load of water with. I got the mask back on and continued to breath okay, but was coughing. Not so good 2 meters under water, so we came up. I still did well though. And everything is signed up for now. 

 

All I need to do is some open water diving as part of my training. Far too cold out there just yet, even my main pond is only at 6 degrees… yikes. 

 

In other news, mum had her last day with me today. Pretty sad really, it was a rushed day, because of road works and other things, but we chatted and laughed most of the day. Only getting tired of it towards home time. I can’t complain about that. I’m in on my own tomorrow now 😦 sad… going to miss  chatting to her on the way into work and on the way home. 

 

Just hoping she can find another more sutible job. It looks pretty bleak out there. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. 

 

Weather is really cold, my fish hate it, I hate it…. even my cat won’t go out anymore, she hides any where she can to try and avoid being kicked out at night. Lucky for her, she just goes into the other part of the house, as my mum in the granny flat has a cat flap. So my cat goes to sleep with my mums cat. Nice hey, we’ll you’d think so, but all they do is ‘hiss’ at each other lol… 

 

I am going to sit back and relax now. Need to chill out after a busy night, and need to get warm…. brrrr 

 

Heading over to Talentville to check out what’s been going on there today. With a bit of luck I might have had a script review or two… can hope can’t I.

Great day :)

So after a couple of rough days there is always something which makes it all better. 🙂 Some good news in the pipeline which I might be able to chat about one day. Fingers crossed of course. Everything has to be crossed for some of these. I am hoping that this year will be a really good one. 

 

Mum’s last day at work tomorrow and they’re letting her come out with me, which will give has an easier last day anyway, and me someone to chat to for a while, I’ll probably bore her to death by the end of the day lol… Oh well. 

 

Tonight I’m off out swimming, well for the rest of my diving pool training. I am going to get it all signed off tonight, so hopefully the next time I post about diving I’ll actually be in a proper place…  and not a swimming pool. 

 

Don’t get me wrong I like the pool sessions they’re safe, but how am I ever going to know if I like it for real unless I get in proper water…. where there is no bottom. scaring myself now… 

 

Looking for a new phone upgrade, if anyone has any recommendations? Please let me know. I have a HTC desire, and would like something similar which can do everything online and on the go. I use my phone a lot. I’m also selling mine, or re-homing it to my other half, that is if he can use it. 

 

Best go and chill  out for a bit. Will let you know how the diving goes tomorrow. 🙂

Monday blues!!

Today has been a trial and a half.

 

I think everything went wrong from getting in bed last night. I couldn’t sleep, awful in fact. The other half got up at 130, never came back to bed till gone 3 and it just made my night even worse.

 

Frost was bad this morning, took ten minutes to defrost the car. The van in work wouldn’t start, and they’d had a break in over the weekend so hard for them.

 

Started my run and my oven went off. My mum broke down, couldn’t get the van going, then did, then broke down again. Hardly anyone came out to see me, or buy food more like. Was a tough sale day, and difficult just in general as I was so tired.

 

Had to pick mum and all her stock up from the garage, nightmare, as there was too much stuff. Couldn’t get mum in, yikes.

 

Came home via the garage, as had to pick up some booster packs in case the vans won’t start again tomorrow. Mum is in the spare one, which they had to clean because it hasn’t been used since Christmas.

 

I’m tired, I’m cranky and I want my bed… lol…

 

What I really need is a holiday, a couple of weeks off. Fat chance.

 

Paul goes back to work tomorrow and he’s had a hard time getting some pain killers from the doctor for tomorrow, they really don’t like listening to you and love causing you more grief.

 

So, I’m off to have a bath and a lovely sleep tonight 🙂

Great party, relaxing Sunday :)

Last nights 21st party was nice. Good to see some friends enjoy themselves. Boy was that room cold though. -1 and it was freezing in there, some of the young girls in dresses had to keep their blokes coats on. I think only the brandy and hugs from my other half kept me warm.

I think the idea was to get on the dance floor and the entertainment there was funny. But I am not a dancer even with a good drink in me.

Dj wasn’t bad, good food. Great company. It was even better that my mum drove us home, was nice for me to relax and have a drink without worrying about driving home.

Today has just been a nice chill out day. Caught up on some sleep, slept till 10am. Then got up to sort all my computer files out and transfer things to Final Draft 8 🙂 yey!!!

I’ve done some writing, a synopsis for a London producer wanting to start casting. Exciting stuff, and some brainstorming with my good friend for another script to a producer in America. All a go really.

Just glad things are nice and relaxed today, need a few weeks of ‘no problems’   before the spring sets in and I might get some more with the fish lol… spring is always scary due to all the bugs that can stay active over winter. Glad I heat, at least I can turn it up a bit sooner and sort out my problems before it is too late. 🙂

Heading off for a relaxing chilled out evening. Got to Dance is on the Tv and its nice and warm in here.

Sat night :)

Spent today playing around with my microscope. Took me too long to figure it out, and get it working on the computer. But, I did it 🙂 Yey!

 

So now we’re getting ready to go out to a 21st party. I am not driving, I’ve decided, I am getting a bit merry… So hopefully I can post tomorrow about how much fun it was. Lots of details to come, and maybe some pics.
