What a day….

You know it  has been a tough one, so I have to say sod the health kick  tonight and I’m having a drink 🙂

I’ve still cut out so much I have to have a little treat…

Guinea pig was screaming in the night… he’s  so in pain. I cut away the fur around the wound today to see it better, hoping the air will help. I also separated him from his friend, although he can still see him. They have to be social creatures. I want him some time alone to heal up and maybe I’ll have to keep him like that, but it is a big big sore, not nice…

I’m tired… had the piggy to sort out, the fish…. the cat, the washing, food to get out for tomorrow… change my clothes so I can wash my work gear. I’m beat.  So chilling out tonight and not doing anything 🙂

Catch you all laters…

Tuesday…

So as interesting as it was to be back in work. (not) glad it is over.

Paul hasn’t worked today, so it was nice to get in and have a roaring coal fire. Was good not to have to do it myself.

I also had two Parcels waiting for me when I got in.

One, a freebie from  http://www.talentville.com a book on scriptwriting, by David Trottier… Dr. Format. So that will be an interesting read. I’ve kept up as much as possible with the column that sparked the book.

And the other was for a DVD. A Nandar entertainment production, called Finding Mr Right. I’ll let you know what it is like when I have seen it later.

So for the rest of the evening I’m going to make Paul look after me. Seeing as it was such a hard day back at work. I don’t like doing much on the first day.

Got my ‘healthy eating’ off to a good start. I avoided all the pastries and bacon buttys at work. I tell you it is going to be tough, driving a large ‘lunch box’ around all day, filled with delicious pastries, cakes, sandwhichs, pasties and other hot food is a nightmare. But I will have to carry on. I really do want my to look nice for my dad’s wedding. 🙂

Fingers crossed. 🙂

Settling in for the night now.  I have a few other things to write. So on with that… no more procrastination I have a TV episode to finish.

Speak later.

Goals

So,

I have been thinking. I post in lots of other places, but not here. So I transferred all my Fishy adventures across. Now I need to find all my other ones.

Goals this year are….

To lose 20lb, to support my husband to lose 40lbs. I have to get him fitter if he wants to  be able to swim and dive.  He thinks he is ‘old’ but alas he is just ‘pudgy’ and unfit. Bit like me.

My eating disorder is in the back of my head, but I am not listening. I want to  look nice for my dads wedding, I want to buy a nice suit… size 14… or wear the one I have.

I want my husband to look nice too, it isn’t a lot to want. really.

Writing goals, are a whole different ball game.

I want to start to send more stuff off.

I want to polish my feature, and write one more.

I want more short stories finished.

Other goals.

To finish around the pond now we found the leak.

To sell and get my babies much bigger.

To have a healthy happy year for my koi.

To just chill out and relax on a few breaks away. Carnforth and maybe Devon 🙂

I think that is probably about it.

Thanks for listening.

New year!

Happy new year everyone!

Wow, what a rush that was. 🙂

2011 was a pretty rough,  tough,  year. But we made it, and we’re onto the next one.

Here’s looking for better and for more.

Rescue

December 18th

So today we inherited two  guinea pigs. They were in need of a good home, where they would be cared for and played with daily.

They will get more than that here.

At present they are very nervous and we’ve had to take one to the vets because its been bitten by the other and is not happy at all with it.  He’s on pain relief and lots of love for now. And believe me he loves the attention and the medicine he can’t get enough of it.

December 23rd,

Time off work at last, time to chill out and spend time catching up with everything. Including the fish.

Amazed how much the baby fry are growing, there are some beauties, really are.
