It’s been a very very tough week, and although everything for TSK is going so well. I’m in the middle of a blog tour, and a great explosion event on facebook! that losing my cat and work life has been bearable.
But I had the opportunity and the get up and go in me to drive my mum and myself 2 hours to Yorkshire to meet our Sequential artist Andrew.
I am not a confident driver at all. I am not a confident person at all. But, I do know these things and being ‘out there’ with the readers is important so I had better start to get used to being asked questions.
Driving out there was awesome. it felt like I was doing something, not sitting at home being the computer writer. I was really going on a mini adventure.
We did get a little lost at a few roundabouts, you know sat nav’s aren’t that great at telling you where to go, esecially as you’ve passed it. lol
But we got there, we met Andrew and his lovely sister Carol and had a fab afternoon. I got to see how art starts and forms the fantastic inked work we are ready to launch as part of TSK’s website. And I’m in awe such a talented man like seriously talented.
Of course we eventually had to leave, and I’d forgotten half of what I wanted to talk about, but it was good. Mum and I were so hungry we stopped at a calvery on the way out and ate and then headed home. Turning it into a real day out. π
Here are the pics we took… and although really am camera shy I don’t think they turned out to bad π
We’re also having a real live book launch on Friday in my local haunt. I am so excited, and so nervous. π
Oh to be a writer… did I really want this?
You bet ya!
