TSK- moving forwards.

Hey there everyone.

As I said yesterday, with the new year and all that ‘building work’ finally out of the way. (6 whole weeks where I had to step away from the writing side of things)  we’re back at it.

Organisation took over this weekend, and I’m happy to say that we’re got a good plan for the year. A very action packed and full year of course, but an exciting one.

The art work for the short stories is coming in nice now, and we’re about to really launch and start marketing our members only section with them in mind. It’s fab to be able to see how these have come along in the last 6 mths.  Formatting the stories and the artwork together, they look, simply amazing.

At the beginning of December, as the company we advertised and took on 3 other writers. 3 very good writers, who took on the projects given to them with great enthusiasm. I’m very excited that we’ve had some submissions for the short stories from them already, and we’ll be extremely happy to be adding their names permanently to the TSK Team. 🙂

However with the added writers and their amazing ‘minds’ the shorts, have gone from a possible 16- to an infinite amount! lol  Some of TSK’s other characters are now being developed on a deeper level. With each authors interpretation of their lives and events. This is fab and is in my mind collaboration at it’s best.

Here’s one of the pics from our first short, just as a reminder…. we’ve circulated a few of them on facebook and twitter, and when I went to meet Andrew and I saw them in the flesh they blew me away. (Art Gallery opening soon) lol

Watch this space. The first short story will be out soon! and we’ve a fab schedule for the others and I’m back to working on book 2’s beta edits. This will be one heck of a year. Stick with us this will be fun.

Building site!

So yeah that pretty much says it all. We’re living in a building site at the moment, as work on the house, started a week ahead of schedule. oopsie.

I had to give in early on nano because of all this planning, even though I made the 50k because I planned well, the novel isn’t finished and I’m so behind on everything. Oh well.

Things have gone a lot better towards the end of this year, we’ve lots good happening, not just the publication of TSK or of Trent’s wonderful language book this month, but for us personally, my mum and the house.

We were going to move rooms, our living room used to be a bedroom and we were going to swap them back around. But, instead we decided to alter the structure of the house and make it better for us. That of course involves a good amount of cash, which we had, and some time away from stuff.

So, knocking through two rooms, putting in steel beams and redecorating in December isn’t a very good idea, but it’s the best time for us to do it, we’re not really xmas people… lol It’s hard on Bobby and us though, moving stuff, and just total upheaval.

Here’s some before, and during pics. I will of course, keep them posted as things are done, it’s really nice to have those memories to remember.

I’ve had a rough week at work, with different things going wrong, but now, I’ve a week to clean, sort things out, and catch up on lots of stuff I’ve neglected.

TSK Productions is looking for staff writers

Hey guys/gals. For all my writer friends, Sci fi, SO, LGBT, 🙂

I know TSK is a large project with even more stuff coming in all the time. So I’m sharing this as the company director, who knows I cannot do everything, so we have the following proposal.

TSK Productions Ltd would like to offer writing assignments/collaborations out for their short story collections (or more) in the TSK world. 

Contract will be provided, and payment would be on word count, (open for some discussion depending on experience), anything 5-10k (open to discussion on larger projects) in length, with an assigned percentage of profits from publishing the anthology later on, albeit in Anthology 1 or 2. (not decided yet)

A link to the copy of the first short to be released as an example can be pm’d to interesting parties.

I will be organising an online group for anyone interested in doing this at http://www.scribophile.com  (free profile available)
Our main character file, is in Scrivener format. So downloading this (free for 30 days) will be helpful.

Editors, proof readers and the line artists are provided, schedule will be organised on the characters and story written, but they’d be released to the members only section on the website first for paying fans, and then published in the anthology with the rest of the team.

Book Blurb!

As we gear up for a few exciting things over the next few weeks. I’ll be sharing more and more of TSK’s book 1 and all the goodies we’re getting in!

We’ve really been pulling out all the stops, the team has been fantastic in getting this so close to launch. That we’ve so much coming up in the next month I am going to run out of time for anything else. I know it. Never, ever enough time in the day.

So without further delay and rambling, here is TSK’s first and final Book Blurb. (This was one of the hardest and most agonising tasks ever, and it really was a team effort.
