Book Blurb!

As we gear up for a few exciting things over the next few weeks. I’ll be sharing more and more of TSK’s book 1 and all the goodies we’re getting in!

We’ve really been pulling out all the stops, the team has been fantastic in getting this so close to launch. That we’ve so much coming up in the next month I am going to run out of time for anything else. I know it. Never, ever enough time in the day.

So without further delay and rambling, here is TSK’s first and final Book Blurb. (This was one of the hardest and most agonising tasks ever, and it really was a team effort.

Blurb for TSK-Lethao. 

Kendro, King of the Aonise, can do nothing to prevent their sun from collapsing, consuming their home planet Letháo in a single fiery blast. Running out of time and options, he evacuates the entire population, setting off into the unknown galaxy in four crowded ships. Under constant danger from their ancient enemy, the Zefron, treasonous dissent seeps into his inner circle. Threatened inside and out, Kendro struggles with who to trust, until a mysterious vision finally brings hope to the distraught King. A new home awaits the Aonise, if Kendro can only unite them long enough to survive the journey.

So excited! New banner for TSK :)

I admit I’ve very lucky to be working with the people that I do, so when this came through today, without any prompting I was stoked and had to come share it.

The team have been working so hard, we’ve had our first proof copy through and have now tweaked the cover to reflect all the changes and things that we hadn’t expected. 🙂 We have submitted it once more for their review and I should have the next copy this week hoping to take it on my hols and get through it as a last min check. Before we go for launch.

I am SO excited!

Hotting up!

And I don’t mean the weather. Well we’re almost ready for the final stages of TSK’s book 1 release. I’m really excited that everything is coming together, and then I’m really scared as well. I flit from one to the other almost every minute. our website can be found here –

Here’s a scary image for you, the day I received the Royal Pendant from Trent in the US. I love it so much, I can’t wait to see if we can get a few of these manufactured. (this one is hand crafted out of wood, with such love it is unreal!

The cover is looking SUPER awesome. And I’ll do a big cover reveal over the easter bank holiday I think.

I’ve been spending the weekend planning. Camp Nano starts in April, I have two weeks of 4 working week days, and then a whole two weeks off. I plan to hammer out the third book to the series. Looking to get around the 100k mark, but we’ll see. Its early yet, and I’m not 100% where the story and characters will take me. The planning is and always does take a different path when I’m in the midst of it all.

So there you are! I’m super excited. I totally can’t wait for April….

Weekend plans. :)

Up early as usual. I’m excited to be looking over and selecting a short list for our conlang job. If there is anyone watching my blog and wants to still get in there, better email soon! There really are some amazing and gifted people out there.

It is still dark out at the moment, cold, and I’m sat in the dark because of Bobby still being asleep, in my pj’s and on my heat pad. If I put the heating on, I get told off for cooking my husband in bed. So funny.

I’ve seriously got to stop procrastinating as well. I’ve still 10 chapters to edit on TSK book 2, which is in for beta read soon! cracks knuckles and prepares to

go back to bed. lol…. just kidding.

Weekend nanowrimo success – 17,218

Yep, you got it, from 6k Sat the 1st to 17 and over. I had to get ahead for the working week. Now I feel like I can do my job, not panic and chill till next weekend, when I’m off work for 9 whole days to crank this puppy to the next level.
